[Details of Customer Request]
As part of an educational trip to Thailand for Japanese High School Students, we were asked to organise a visit to a local orphanage so that these students could appreciate and understand the reality of the living situation in other parts of the world, as well as gain new insights about the living and welfare standard in other countries.
[Project Implementation]
Implementation content” text to “The first step was to identify a suitable location to facilitate this visit by the students. We identified an orphanage in the “Khlong Toei” District, known to be a relatively poor area of Bangkok, as a suitable location and made arrangements with the management to inspect the facility prior to the student’s visit. During our inspection, we spoke with facility management and care staff, met with the children, and looked at the condition of the orphanage itself. We identified areas where assistance could be rendered, such as providing children with play equipment, stationery, and books, and passed these needs onto the visiting school so that the students could prepare some donations ahead of time, making their visit especially meaningful.

[Customer Feedback]
This was a truly one-of-a-kind experience which made the entire trip extremely memorable. Being given the opportunity to enter the city’s slums and interact with the children at the orphanage was unique and eye-opening, as it allowed me to see the other side of Bangkok and how there were many less fortunate people living there. The orphanage staff also explained the current situation and outlook for orphans and poor children in the city, as well as in the rest of Thailand, which helped us to deepen our understanding of the situation, as well as think about what we could do to help.
